Pat Roberts is an Associate Director of CWC’s gas portfolio and is actively involved with the Steering Committee in the design and running of the LNG series of conferences. Pat is also active with CWC School for Energy and its training courses. Pat has seven years’ experience as an independent consultant as Director of LNG Worldwide Ltd. She works with several key industry players as well as new entrants in the global gas and LNG markets. This covers the full commercial gas supply chain from strategy and market fundamental analysis to assisting with negotiating commercial agreements. Prior to independent consulting, Pat worked for the Shell group of companies for 24 years in their global oil and gas commercial divisions, culminating with a role as General Manager of Shell’s international LNG business in the Atlantic Basin.
Ms. Spomer joined Jordan Cove LNG as President and Chief Executive Officer on November 3, 2014. She has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry, having the majority of her career in the LNG industry. Ms. Spomer has extensive experience in commercial activities and developing new growth opportunities. Prior to joining Jordan Cove LNG, Ms. Spomer was Senior Vice President, Global Business Development with BG Group PLC. Ms. Spomer has also held senior leadership positions with BP and Amoco. Over Ms. Spomer’s career, she has been involved in LNG projects worldwide including LNG export projects in Trinidad and Tobago, Egypt, Australia, Western Canada and the United States Gulf of Mexico and LNG import projects in the United States, China, Singapore and Chile. Betsy graduated with a B.A. in Economics and History as well as an MBA from the University of Colorado.
Ms. Keo Lukefahr is the General Manager of Natural Gas for PetroChina International (America), Inc., the America’s arm of PetroChina, a Forbes Global 10 company.
Keo has worked in the energy industry for more than two decades. She has served in senior trading roles in leading energy companies including PetroChina, BP, and Motiva. Earlier in her career, Keo was a Principal at the strategy-consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton where she specialized in the Energy Sector. Keo began her career as a crude and products trader for Cargill.
Keo holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Washington. Prior to attending graduate school, Keo worked for the U.S. Peace Corps in Africa.
Kenneth Paterson (Kenny) is the co-founder and Director of Tarmore based in Houston, Texas. Tarmore is an independent oil and gas consultancy.
Kenny has been in the oil & gas industry for 29 years, beginning in the North Sea with Shell Exploration and Production and more recently in the role of Vice President responsible for leading Apache LNG Pty Ltd’s LNG marketing and shipping activities for the Wheatstone LNG project, Western Australia and the Kitimat LNG project, British Columbia Canada.
Kenny has also worked in areas of; offshore operations, project management, management of non-operated assets, new business development, international business development, drilling, subsea and geotechnical business services, marketing for the North West Shelf (NWS) LNG Project and strategy formulation.
Kenny holds a Degree in Electrical Electronic Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration
Rod Duke holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of GLNG Operations Pty Ltd and is responsible for delivery of the GLNG pipeline and LNG plant & port projects and ongoing plant operations, commercial, LNG marketing and production planning for GLNG.
Rod has extensive global experience in the LNG industry with over 30 years in project management, engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, commercial, marketing and business development areas of the upstream natural gas and LNG industry. Rod’s qualifications include an Honours Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Graduate Diploma of Business Management.
John is the Managing Director of ERAC LLC. He trained in chemical engineering and economics (Univ. of Southern California and University of London). His expertise is in commodity trading, project appraisal, oil and gas project management, portfolio optimisation and risk management, and SPA contract advice in gas, LNG, and power.
John’s career has included investment banking, energy trading and portfolio management (NASD license); oil, LNG/gas and power project manager with energy majors, university lecturer and consultancy. He has some 30 years experience working with government, energy and chemicals companies and manufacturers. He advises the oil majors, utilities, hedge funds, banks, law firms, the International Energy Agency, OPEC Secretariat, UNDP and renewable energy developers. He has also been an expert witness on gas/LNG contract disputes.
Ken Culotta is a partner in the Houston office of King & Spalding and a founding member of the firm’s London affiliate, King & Spalding International LLP. He is the leader of the firm’s Global Transactions Practice Group, and a member of the Latin America Practice. Mr. Culotta represents a broad spectrum of energy and natural resource industry clients, with a focus on LNG and CNG concerns, and oil, gas and NGL producers and transport and storage providers. His practice focus includes cross-border projects and transactions, and the unique public and private law issues involved in structuring, documenting and negotiating these transactions.
