Mr. van Marcke joined Galway in 2007, and brings to the firm 20 years of technical, commercial development, and corporate strategy experience in the natural gas and financial services sectors. At Galway, he has advised clients on LNG supply acquisition and development of onshore and floating LNG import infrastructure, including small scale LNG alternatives, LNG export projects, as well as development of gas markets and gas pipeline networks. Mr. van Marcke is currently advising clients in North America, the Caribbean, Central America, and Africa on LNG export projects, LNG import infrastructure development, supply acquisition, project structuring, strategic partnerships, gas market development, and fuel substitution for power generation. Prior to joining Galway, he held several commercial development positions at Enron and Capital One Financial Corporation. Mr. van Marcke holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A from Tulane University.
