Martin Hutchison brings over 38 years of global oil and gas industry experience in technical, commercial and executive management roles, encompassing Upstream and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). His career includes 30 years with a major US Energy company in oil exploration, Corporate Economics, ICT, M&A, Business Development and Corporate Risk Management, both in the UK and the US. Martin has held Chief Executive roles representing the US major in Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria. Martin has served on the boards of VenAmCham and Petrolera Ameriven and as Chairman of the Oil Committee of the Venezuela-America Chamber. He was appointed as the first Managing Director and on the board of Brass LNG in Nigeria. Martin is now working as an independent consultant providing strategic advice to governments and industry in the international energy sector as well as a senior lecturer and Associate Director of the CWC School of Energy for whom he also chairs energy related conferences worldwide.
