Martin Hutchison has over 30 years of global experience in technical, commercial and executive management roles, encompassing upstream and LNG. Starting as a Geophysicist with Phillips in London he moved to management positions in the UK and USA in Economics and Capital Budgeting, ICT, Business Development and Corporate Risk Management. As Phillips’ Country Manager in Venezuela he also served as Chairman of the International Oil Committee, representing upstream investors and on the boards of VenAmCham and the Hamaca Heavy Oil project.
He later served as President and GM for Phillips’ interests in CV1, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and as the MD board member for Brass LNG Ltd, Nigeria. He now works as an independent consultant supplying strategic support to the global energy industry. Martin leads CWC School for Energy’s successful course Gas Monetization in Nigeria.
