Vice President, Jordan Cove LNG
Vern Wadey, Veresen’s Vice President, Jordan Cove LNG, currently has focused responsibilities for the successful development of the Jordan Cove LNG export facility and the related Pacific Connector pipeline in southwest Oregon.
Since joining Veresen in 2003 as Vice President, Business Development, Mr. Wadey has had owner’s management responsibilities for key Canadian and U.S. investments including Alliance Pipeline, the Aux Sable companies, Alberta Ethane Gathering System, and Pristine Power. Other corporate duties have included acquisitions, project management, and governance of North American based targets focused on natural gas storage, pipelines, LNG, NGLs, and electric generation.
Prior to Veresen, Vern worked for TransCanada Pipelines in its U.S. and international business groups, with responsibilities for asset management, business development, and international asset sales. Prior to TransCanada, Vern spent many years in the U.S. natural gas marketing business.
Vern Wadey holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, an MBA, and a Director’s Certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD). Vern is a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
