The World LNG & Gas Americas Steering Committee is made up of senior decision makers from the buyers and sellers community alongside renowned industry experts from across the LNG value chain. Our members meet once a year to provide guidance on the Summit agenda, identifying the key topics for the Summit. They also generously give additional support throughout the year to ensure that the Summit is truly run by the industry, for the industry.

Kamran is the General Manager, LNG Business with JERA Energy America LLC having joined full time in July 2017 whose main remit is to help manage the offtake from Freeport LNG Train 1 and any other LNG business in the USA. His career spans the oil and gas value chain with prior experience at ConocoPhillips, Chevron and RasGas starting from 2000. Kamran’s experience in LNG is gained from prior roles at ConocoPhillips in the Atlantic & Pacific Basin LNG Marketing Business Unit and as a Short-Term Marketer at RasGas.

Professional with 20 years of working experience in business areas of power generation, transmission and trading companies, in Chile and Argentina. Wide expertise in the energy and natural gas markets in Latin America.
Since 2009, he has worked as Head of Gas & Fuels Latam of Enel Chile, responsible for the gas operations of the Enel group in Latin America. As a representative of Enel, he has participated in the origination, development and commercial operation of the LNG business in Chile, as manager of the all company´s business related to the Quintero LNG Terminal and also as a member of the board of the companies GNL Chile and GNL Quintero.

Kasciandro is the Gas & Power Manager of Petrobras America responsible for LNG negotiations in the Americas and natural gas trading in the U.S. Kasciandro initiated in the LNG business in 2008/09, the same years that Petrobras started an intense commercial activity in the LNG business. He coordinated the short-term LNG planning and trading of the company during the peak demand years and also worked as Interim LNG Trading Manager in the first half of 2015. In his last position as Gas & Power Business Development Manager, he led the development of the initiative to allow third party access to the Petrobras regas terminals.

Pat Roberts is an Associate Director of CWC's gas portfolio and is actively involved with the Steering Committee in the design and running of the LNG series of conferences. Pat is also active with CWC School for Energy and its training courses. Pat has seven years' experience as an independent consultant as Director of LNG Worldwide Ltd. She works with several key industry players as well as new entrants in the global gas and LNG markets. This covers the full commercial gas supply chain from strategy and market fundamental analysis to assisting with negotiating commercial agreements. Prior to independent consulting, Pat worked for the Shell group of companies for 24 years in their global oil and gas commercial divisions, culminating with a role as General Manager of Shell's international LNG business in the Atlantic Basin.

Jason Feer is the Global Head of Business Intelligence at Poten & Partners
Prior to joining Poten in 2014, served as COO Americas for Argus Media based in Houston starting 2011, and from 2003 through 2011 as the head of Argus’ Asia Pacific business, where he was responsible for managing Argus’ business East of the Suez Canal. In this role, he oversaw the development of new products focused on petroleum, LNG, LPG, coal, base oils, biofuels and other products.
With more than 25 years’ experience in global energy markets, Jason has worked in Asia, Latin America, Europe and the US. His specialties include markets, project development and the politics of oil.
He is a frequent commentator on oil affairs and has appeared on CNBC, the BBC and other television and radio outlets.

Jimmy Straughan is the Chief Commercial Officer of BP’s LNG Americas organization. He is responsible for business development activities throughout the Americas and he is a member of BP’s global LNG leadership team. He currently serves as Vice Chairman on the board of directors for the Center of LNG (CLNG).
Jimmy has a Chemical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University and he has over 33 years of experience in the oil & gas industry. He has spent the past 18 years focused on LNG.

Esteban Papanicolau is Executive Director of Gas Porto International LLC, an advisory company based in Houston and focused in LNG project development.
Esteban has more than 25 years experience in the energy sector, with an active participation in the natural gas expansion cycle in the 1990s in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Bolivia and Brazil working for key international players in the energy field.
Since 2013, Mr. Papanicolau is based in Houston and is part of the original development team of Energia del Pacifico LNG to Power Project in El Salvador, and Rio Grande LNG to power and market in Brazil, being responsible for the LNG long term supply contract of the project as well as assisting in the discussions with Lenders, EPC Contractors, FSU/FSRU providers and potential strategic investors.

Asish is currently the Managing Director (Americas) for Galway Group. In this role, he manages and/or has oversight of all advisory engagements in North and South America. He has over 15 years of transactional, business development and strategy experience in the natural gas industry, both from the perspective of an industry player as well as in an advisory role.
Prior to joining Galway Group, he worked in Wood Mackenzie’s Global LNG division for four and a half years. There, he managed all LNG-related client interactions in North America, and also worked on a number of global LNG consulting engagements. Before that, he worked for nine and a half years at BG Group, where he was involved in several commercial and business development roles, and a number of LNG portfolio management initiatives.
Asish also brings project financing and debt syndication experience in the Gas & Power sectors having worked for a year at ICICI, a premier financial institution in India. Asish holds a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur) and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore).

His past clients have included Jordan Cove LNG and the Qatargas Americas Liaison Office in Houston as well as various upstream E&P clients, and Asian LNG buyers. Before forming Energy Deal Solutions, LLC, Mr. Dayvault led the LNG Commercial Development team for Gazprom Marketing & Trading USA and had various commercial and financial modeling roles at Marathon, Enron, and Glencore. He began his career with ten years at Chevron. Mr. Dayvault has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, an MS in Petroleum Engineering from University of Southern California, and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.

Juan I. Pareja, Manager Business Development, LNG Americas, leads the identification and capture of LNG opportunities in established and emerging markets. Juan has held various management roles in Finance, Competitive Intelligence, Upstream Business Development, LPG Trading, LNG Trading covering Asia-Pacific, Middle East and India and the Americas. Juan earned a dual bachelor’s degree in economics & management and psychology from Beloit College in Wisconsin in 1992 and a master’s degree in business administration in finance and business strategy in 1995 from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
