The Premier Global LNG Gathering in the Americas

The World LNG Series: Americas Summit took place in San Antonio on 24-27 April 2012, bringing together some 300 attendees from around 30 countries in North America, Latin America & the Caribbean, Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Delegates heard from over 50 speakers representing the major players in the LNG industry from across the globe and received essential updates on their business.

Major topics in the global and regional LNG market were discussed, including: updates on new North American export projects; Asia Pacific market developments; financing for LNG projects; LNG as a road and marine transportation fuel; portfolio optimisation and changes in the LNG shipping market.

As always, networking was a key feature of the Summit, kicking off with BG Group’s welcome drinks reception. King & Spalding hosted the networking roundtable discussions with full attendance and lively debate. This year’s dinner hosted by Cheniere was in a new venue – the McNay Art Museum – a beautiful setting for participants to relax and enjoy true Texan hospitality.
